You met the great spirit Guwaru in Stone Colossus Heart. Guwaru was corrupted at one point and was the Black Mage's Commander. Due to that evil influence, the Black Mage's magic managed to corrupt the many spirits that make up Stone Colossus. After the Black Mage was sealed, Guwaru came to his senses and has been protecting Stone Colossus all this time. Guwaru said he will no longer support the Black Mage and that his forces are dwindling. That is fortunate but, something feels off...
