III: Disrobing the Conspiracy

You and Leon escaped arrest for the murder of the Heaven Empire envoy, Zion, but were rescued by the Robed Lady. In an even bigger twist, she turned out to be Claire Tremier, the daughter of the man who implicated you in the murder... But she disappeared before you could find out more.

You and Leon decided that Claire must have been kidnapped by the masked assailants from earlier. You trailed two of them back to a hideout in the deep forest, and took them out to get inside, where you found... Zion, alive and well! The strangest thing was that he seemed to know Claire. But before you could hear what they were saying to one another, Leon rushed in to save her. You had no choice but to follow him. Zion, surprised by the intrusion, sends Il Capo to eliminate you and Leon. But you managed to break through his trap, and capture Zion. He confessed that the Heaven Empire was plotting to cripple Commerci's trade routes, but you'd need to get him back to Gilberto to clear your name. But, before you could escape, the assassin called Il Capo, assassinated Zion from afar! With your evidence lost, and a huge conspiracy in front of you, you needed to return to San Commerci and tell Giberto. But before you could leave, Claire felt an evil energy. You made a quick sweep of the area, and found an invisible barrier. A quick investigation revealed something big, so you headed for town. You returned to Giberto to clear your name, and to tell him about the Heaven Empire's conspiracy. But with him, you found Vaughn Tremier. You spill the beans to Gilberto: Zion's fake death, and real death, the assassins, their leader, and the true conspirator behind it all, the Heaven Empire. But Vaughn Tremier would not have it. He demanded your immediate arrest, and would have had it, if it hadn't been for Claire. Vaughn Tremier was startled to see his daughter in town. With the Tremiers distracted, you had the opportunity to speak with Gilberto. You told him everything there was to know, but with no evidence, there was nothing he could do. But he surprised you with a request... to broker a peace deal with Maple World. With Gilberto's trust won, you went to find Leon at the harbor to return to Maple World. Only, when you arrived, he and Claire were speaking to each other! You decide to go thank Claire, and do a favor for Leon at the same time. But, when you gave her Leon's letter, she didn't seem interested at all... Your time in Commerci made you homesick for Maple World. You talked to Leon Daniella, and got on the boat back to Maple World, but you ran into Parbell when you got off! The old timer gave you a gift.
