Akechi Mitsuhide

Formerly one of Oda Nobunaga's Four Heavenly Kings, this samurai is a master swordsman who wields a katana that's taller than he is.
Under Oda's command, he committed countless atrocities, including nearly wiping out the Matsuyama Clan and kidnapping Princess Sakuno for Oda's Demon King ritual.
However, on the night of the ritual, he betrayed Oda. As a result, both Oda's forces and the Sengoku Warriors were transported to Maple World.
Afterward, he helped the Sengoku Warriors defeat Oda at Fort Asura, only to betray THEM and play both sides against each other. Since then, he has been sowing chaos throughout Maple World and making enemies everywhere he goes.
It's said that he was disullisioned by Oda for failing to end the war after claiming victory in Hinomaru. It's said that he is an enemy to anyone who starts a war. However, his tendency to betray everyone, his cruel disdsain for the weak, and his incredible arrogance hardly makes him a sympathetic figure. He's a true lone wolf--do not let your guard down around him.
