Defiled Tree Sap

This unidentified dark blue-black sap appears in the lower reaches of the Dark World Tree. The cursed blade seems to have caused it to decay.
Stories, possibly related, claim that an ordinary slime turned into Defiled Tree Sap simply by coming into contact with the Dark World Tree. The cursed blade's power appears to be that lethal to living beings. Even I would hesitate to try tasting something like this...although, if I had to guess, I'd say it probably tastes like soda.
